Create Your Own Rock Garden

Do you have a child who LOVES collecting rocks, sticks, pine cones, acorns, or really any random small item of nature? Yea, mine too! My daughter cannot take a walk and come home empty handed and you know what? That’s okay. It is wonderful to be excited by the world around you and to marvel at the intricacies of nature…I just don’t want it in my house or washing machine! Feel me? So, we decided to make her very own rock garden. It sits on the front porch and makes the perfect dumping spot for her found treasures.

What you will need:

1. Wooden Crete (we got ours from Michael’s)

2. Sharpie to personalize it

3. Paints of choice

4. Paintbrush

5. Cup of water for rinsing paintbrush
