In a summer pool rut? Looking for summer activities for your kids? Not everyone is lucky enough to have an underground pool, but that’s OK. We have been rocking the blow-up pools for a few summers now and my kids absolutely love it! The blow-up pools are a great solutions for summer activities with kids. In fact, with toddlers, this is about the easiest way to keep them cool in the summer. Right now, I prefer the small blow-up pools until both of my kids’ are proficient swimmers. Anyway…the little pools can get stale, so to keep your kids interested and having a blast, here are 5 super fun and easy ways to keep the little blow up pool cool all summer!

5 Super Fun and Easy Blow-Up Pool Ideas:

1.       Bubbles! The credit goes to my husband on this super fun idea. He nearly emptied an entire jug of bubbles to the pool and the kids had one of the BEST times! Not to mention, daddy them on the fun of the bubble pool.

2.       Balls: Add every single ball you own to the pool of various sizes. We had two giant bags of ball-pit balls, along with several other balls. The kids will have a “ball” with this idea!

3.       Color Drops and/or Food coloring: Let the kids each pick their own color. We emptied an entire container of food coloring into our pool. Allowing the kids to squeeze it themselves makes it that much more fun. For color drops, they may each need to have 3-5 to color the whole pool.
